Why Does It Matter for the Exam?

  2. Monument facts: Statue of Unity height, date, sculptor
  3. Institutions: Lalit Kala Akademi year and role
  4. Material: cement concrete for Baij
  5. Common errors: giving Santhal Family to Roy Chowdhury or crediting the Statue of Unity to a Bengal School artist

As an analytical point, modern Indian sculpture shows the pull between Western academic training and Indian folk roots. Public monuments carry political memory and tourism value, but need sensitive conservation and community use to remain meaningful.
