The problem MAARG solves
Preparing for the UPSC is India's most demanding academic journey. The vast syllabus, the dynamic nature of the exam and the need for consistent discipline make it intellectually and psychologically challenging. Study materials and classes are everywhere, but many aspirants struggle for lack of structured guidance, a personalised strategy and consistent mentorship.

P2P Mentorship
Personal-to-Personal (P2P) mentorship gives every aspirant 1-to-1 customised attention, with three mentorship sessions a week arranged at mutually convenient times. Each session has four purposes.
| Purpose | What happens |
|---|---|
| Progress review | Assessing coverage of planned topics and evaluating productivity |
| Strategy refinement | Adjusting the preparation strategy based on performance and targets |
| Doubt discussion | Clarifying conceptual or subject-specific challenges |
| Motivation and discipline | Maintaining focus, confidence and consistency |
3-Tier Planning
Every aspirant enters with a unique academic background, strengths and challenges, so MAARG builds a custom-tailored strategy through a 3-tier planning framework.
Tier 1: Daily actionable plans
Clear tasks for each day, including topic-wise syllabus coverage, concept learning, practice and daily revision slots, driven by Daily Practice Papers.
Tier 2: Weekly performance reviews
Completion of targeted segments, performance review, conceptual discussions and identification of weak areas. The outcome is to evaluate progress and adjust the strategy accordingly.
Tier 3: Monthly strategic alignment
A comprehensive progress assessment, mock test evaluation, strategy refinement and strengthening of weak subjects, to keep tracking toward the long-term goal.
Execution Matrix
The Time-Scaled Execution Matrix organises the work into three levels of rhythm: daily micro-engagement, weekly evaluation and monthly alignment.
| Level | Activities | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Micro-engagement (daily) | Topic-wise syllabus coverage, concept learning, practice, daily revision slots, driven by DPPs | Consistent engagement and disciplined study habits |
| Meso-evaluation (weekly) | Completion of targeted segments, performance review, conceptual discussions, identifying weak areas | Evaluate progress and adjust strategy accordingly |
| Macro-alignment (monthly) | Comprehensive progress assessment, mock test evaluation, strategy refinement, strengthening weak subjects | Ensure tracking toward the long-term goal |
DPP System
The DPP system reinforces learning every day through unit-wise question sets that cover the entire UPSC syllabus and fit the custom study schedule. DPPs have four aims:
- Strengthen conceptual understanding.
- Improve retention of topics.
- Practise applying knowledge in exam-oriented questions.
- Develop analytical thinking.
For full-scale test practice, see the Prelims Test Series (GS & CSAT).
Concept Building
Mentoring sessions are used to build deep intellectual foundations across the entire UPSC syllabus, in four steps from confusion to clarity.
- Explain: break down difficult topics in simplified ways.
- Deconstruct: break complex concepts into manageable components.
- Guide: provide targeted, subject-specific guidance.
- Resolve: actively resolve doubts during mentoring sessions.
